These languages are in the same branches of the same  language families, which means they share many characteristics.The closer two languages  are related, the more vocabulary and grammar they share. Naturally, this means that you can learn a closely related language faster than an unrelated language.  This is because:Some words may be identical in closely related languages. The word book is libro in both Spanish and Italian.Other words may be very similar. Its easier to recognize and memorize words that are similar to words you already know. For example, the word book in Russian is kniga and in Czech,  kniha.Grammar structures are likely to be   similar in  related languages. Although there may be different rules, the underlying structure will probably be similar.  This means you dont need to learn new grammatical concepts, just new formulas.Your comprehension of a  related language is likely to be very high, even if you have trouble speaking it. You will be able to understand the written word and comprehend the spoken word relatively quickly. You may also be able to make yourself understood to native speakers, even if you dont use  exactly the right words. This can speed up your progress and give you the motivation to keep studying.In some cases, even unrelated languages may  share many features. Languages that are spoken in the same region or share a long history of interconnection may share vocabulary words, even if the grammar and structure of the languages is extremely different.Turkish and Arabic are a prime example of this. These language are in different language families, but share a related history due to the infl uence of Islam. If you get takeout tonight, chances are you can package it up for lunch or dinner tomorrow. Look at that. Two birds. One stone. 5. Itll taste like heaven Most of the time, when I cook, it never comes out tasting like I want it to taste. But when I go get my favorite takeout, I can count on it being just as delicious as the time before. I never have to add extra seasoning and its always grilled to perfection. Getting takeout is worth it to just not have to worry about the final product after 45 minutes of hoping it tastes okay. And then when youre finally done cooking (after 45 minutes) and it  doesnt  taste good, thats when it stinks that you didnt just go get takeout in the first place. Save yourself now. 6. Convenience, convenience, convenience Call it in on your way out the door from work. Pick it up before you get home or have it delivered. Walk in the door with delicious smelling food already ready to be consumed. Its the equivalent of marrying someone who strongly believes dinner should be on the table already when you come in every day. 7. Youll be glad you did it When youre kicked back and relaxing on your couch with some of your favorite takeout, youll be glad you took my advice. Absolute value is actually the distance of the number from the center and is denoted by | |(modulus sign). Hence absolute value is never negative. Absolute value is the magnitude of the number not the sign. Absolute value equation contains the variables and numbers with the absolute value sign in it. Example 1: Solve for the variable x in the equation | x 1| = 5? Solution: Given is the equation |x 1| = 5. Here the unknown variable which needs to be solved for is x. First step: The absolute value gives two cases; x 1 = 5; x 1 = -5. Adding 1 on both sides of the given equation. (x 1) + 1 = 5 + 1; (x 1) + 1 = -5 + 1 This gives x = 6; x = -4. Hence the solution is x = 6 or -4. Example 2: Solve for the variable x in the equation | x + 6| = 6? Solution: Given is the equation |x + 6| = 6. Here the unknown variable which needs to be solved for is x. First step: The absolute value gives two cases; x + 6 = 6; x + 6 = -6. Subtracting 6 on both sides of the given equation.
